Wedding day run sheet, my tips

Once the big day comes around the schedule is the back bones of the day. You don’t want to go past being “fashionably late!”.

When scheduling the times, it’s worth factoring in a few things to ensure that everything runs smoothly throughout the day. Some things to consider are:

. Make the most of the day. Why wait until 3pm to start your wedding day? Why not have a midday ceremony and spend the whole afternoon with your guests. The day goes by so fast do you really want to rush from ceremony to photos and get back right before dinner. Having an early ceremony means you spend more time at your wedding with your new wife or husband.

. Hair and make up, ask your artist how long it takes for each person. As the bride you don’t want to be first or last, somewhere in the middle is great. When your photographer arrives you will be ready for some casual photos relaxing, popping champagne and getting excited with your wedding party.

·         Always leave enough time to travel between destinations. Unless your venue is hosting everything, make sure you know how long it takes to go from the church to the venue as well as anywhere in between. Don’t let being stuck in traffic cause any stress. Always check for events road closures on your wedding day and plan well.

. Factor in congratulation time, right after you get married everyone will want to wish you well. It’s a beautiful exciting time, you don’t want to be rushing off for photos.

.   Eat Eat Eat . There’s always a long gap between the ceremony and when the food arrives at the reception. Factor in time to be at cocktail hour, mingle with your guests have some food and drinks before you head off for photos.

. Get the formalities out of the way early so you can relax and enjoy the party. You could do an entrance first dance, cut the cake and then all you have to do is mingle and party.

Even though these little things might not feel like a big deal, they can make a huge difference on the day. The last time you want to feel is rushed.

As with every wedding, there are only so many things you can prepare for. My hottest tip is to factor in extra time for everything that way you can Cruze on through the day.
