Aisling Bourke photography why pick me??

I’ve been advised that sipping coffee and patting my dogs on the couch waiting for bookings is not the best sales strategy.

If you know me you know I hate selling myself and the give me your money I’ll give you this side of my business.

So here is my raw honest attempt to get you to pick me when you need a wedding photographer.

So many choices

By now I’m sure you have seen that there is a photographer on every corner, they are all amazing. I know because I stalk them and slide into their DM’s all the time.

I cant say I’m better than anyone else but I do know how much heart I put into every wedding I shoot. I wont be someone you don’t know on your wedding day, I wont be a stranger that enters the room not recognising the person getting married. Capturing your wedding is personal to me and I promise to always make it fun and comfortable for you.

Why do you cost …

With so many photographers on every corner there are also so may pricing variations, there is no one monitoring the industry so you can find a $100 - $20,000 photographer in the same street.

I often say don’t pay to much attention to the price and focus on the way they make you feel but let’s be realistic thousands of dollars is something hard to ignore.

My pricing falls some where in the middle, starting at $1900 I want to be accessible to everyone.

Quality

Who doesn’t want quality when it comes to their wedding day. Providing quality at every touch point is my number one goal.

My systems, equipment and dad jokes are the best quality you can get. I service all my gear regularly during the year, my back up system is 5 copies deep so your images are always safe. I’m so obsessed with technology and having the best cameras so your images will be the highest quality possible.

Punctuality

I am always early, to everything except for my own birth I’m pretty sure I was late but thats the only time I promise.

You will never wonder if I’m going to turn up, you can contact me anytime and I’m always checking in to see if I can help with anything or just sending emojis to your instagram story.

The same goes after your wedding, you wont be sitting around a month after wondering where your photos are, by now you will already be enjoying them and sharing them with the world.

Friendliness

I am very friendly and approachable, I will be like a guest who blends into the celebration. You wont see me bossing your guests around to get into photos or rushing you guys to be anywhere you don’t want to be. I’m there for you, I’ll never make it about me.

My style

Probably something that is most important is how I approach your day and tell your story. My style is very much documentary for 75% of your day. I am running around right up in the action capturing all the candid moments as they unfold.

The other 25% of the day being your wedding party and portraits I am helping you guys out a little more than the rest of the day. My style is definitely not magazine poising but I do look for the best locations, lighting and composition. I then pop you in there and guide you with little prompts to evoke some natural, cute and fun interactions.

Uncomfortable is not something that I want to make you feel ever.
